I am 34 years old and an active and committed Labour Party campaigner. I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2003 with a degree in journalism, before going on to study law as a mature student in London. While studying, I worked as a secretary at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where I served five years as a union shop steward (Unison) and conference delegate.
Currently, I hold the post of constituency secretary in my local CLP, as well as being secretary and treasurer of the SW London ‘Keep Our NHS Public’ Campaign. I am also a speaker and writer on secularism, women’s rights, and the rights of ethnic and other minorities.
We need to remind people why they should vote Labour
